Be More With Less

As I am getting older (maybe), I always feel like I am forever trying to simplify more. As I am walking my journey to 30 years old (Amen), a lot of things had changed; which I think is for the better.

1. I prefer yoga, than zumba.

2. I enjoy window shopping, but I don't really enjoy buying anything; except if it is very useful and practical.

3. I prefer light makeup, and less accessories. In fact, I don't have any except for my simple, affordable  Casio watch (which I need for teaching) and a gold ring (given by my sister on her wedding).

4. I wear simple cloth, which is less complicated.

5. I prefer books with important life lesson, rather than hopeless romance.

6. I enjoy being home doing nothing the whole day. Just because.

7. I'm doing my best to practice self-care.

8. Not really into poetry anymore. It makes my heart ache with pain. I need some encouraging words, not the one that makes me drown into useless emotion.

9. My circle is smaller. I only keep quality friends around. And I'm trying my best to avoid being too close with any male friends. Heartstring complicates life.

10. Still working on my quiet time before The Lord. I hope to be more secure in my life.

"Insecurity makes us settle. Insecurity makes us distracted. Insecurity robs our confidence in our rich inheritance from God. Insecurity makes us put our gifts on a shelf to gather demonic dust. Insecurity disturbs our sleep. Insecurity derails our life." - Beth Moore
